But Wendy's going to be appearing at Moksha Yoga Vancouver on November 8th. (Get it? It's a stretch beacuse it's a yoga studio? Oh, never mind.)
To quote the fine folks there:
If you like good food, great people, free prizes, live music and massages…yes, massages, this is the party for you! To celebrate our challengers, and all of our loyal students, we’ve finally decided to throw a "Super-fun party". We’ve canvassed the neighborhood and with the help of other like-minded businesses we have some great door prizes and goodie-bags, as well as food. Here is a list of the things you can expect:
- Delicious vegetarian treats made by one of our students, Jessica Willott, who is also a chef!
- Aphrodite’s pies provided by one of our students (Kyle) and who is a manager at Aphrodite's
- Live music provided by our student Wendy Norman, who has just released her album "Reasons for the Waiting"
- Banyan Books door prizes
- Halfmoon door prizes
- Tonic wear door prizes
- Moksha Yoga goody bags.
- Complimentary "hand treatments" from Kerry Gooderham
- Complimentary massages from recently graduated RMTs
The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., so stop by and give a listen!
